A collaboration of many starting with a big idea of Cathy Sykes, inspired of course by L. Frank Baum and the Wizard of Oz. She shared her dream with friends and family and looked at the picture of the fridge for years.
In time, she shared her dream with Joe Gray of Graystone Masonry in Gilford, NH. His creative brain could see it and with the help of his loving and supportive family he made my dream come true. It was a an honor and a pleasure getting to know Joe’s Dad, Nephew Seth, Grandson Jackson and other dear friends and family of Joe. We were all blessed to make this project come together.
And of course Everett Albee and his dirt crew led by John. So many people had a part in expediting this truly unique courtyard and I thank them all.
It was with due thanks I acknowledge my own family, Sterling & Emerson Sykes for their love and support making this dream come true too. They know I’m crazy and love me just the same for it.
